Membership in IATS
The International Alliance of Teacher Scholars — IATS — is a group of college/university administrators, faculty members, and graduate students who support and are interested in developing college and university teaching excellence through SoTL: the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.
With publications and conferences, IATS provides a scholarly forum for faculty and administrators to discuss all areas affecting college and university teaching and learning, and gives members the opportunity to share proven, innovative pedagogies, and thoughtful insights about teaching. Members are encouraged to join in the planning for conferences and to serve as reviewers for IATS publications and conference proposals.
The IATS website includes information about and access to Lilly Conferences, institutes, and other development opportunities held around the United States throughout the academic year. You can join the LillyCon Listserve, participate in ongoing discussions in the Forum, access and read the latest issues of the Journal of Excellence in College Teaching, and access links to publications by members, as well as other SoTL resources!
